Vintage Mexican folk-art pottery vase featuring an intricately painted heron surrounded by flowers, leaves, and finely detailed linework.


The decoration and form are closely associated with the pottery traditions of Tonalá, Jalisco. The piece is unsigned, so the precise maker and place of origin are unknown.


A lovely piece for a Mexican folk-art collection, Southwestern-inspired room, eclectic interior, or pottery collection. Not tested for water-tightness. 


Approximately 8 inches tall and 4.5 inches across at the widest point.
