Vintage Hekman Inlaid Mahogany Pembroke Drop-Leaf Table

Vintage drop-leaf Pembroke table by Hekman Furniture of Grand Rapids, Michigan. An elegant and exceptionally versatile piece, the table combines richly figured mahogany veneers, delicate contrasting inlay, and a compact, beautifully proportioned form.

Two drop leaves allow the table to triple its surface area when fully extended. Closed, its narrow profile works beautifully as a side table, console, or occasional table; with one or both leaves raised, it provides a generous surface for dining, games, or entertaining. A single drawer with brass ring pull provides useful storage.

The table is marked Hekman inside the drawer.

Condition

Good vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. The table is structurally sound, the drawer functions properly, and both leaves raise and lower as intended. The top and other surfaces show scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and other age-related marks, as shown in the photographs. Despite the cosmetic wear, the table presents beautifully and retains a rich, warm finish.
