Vintage Artmark Japanese Satsuma-Style Hexagonal Peacock and Peony Vase

Beautiful vintage Japanese ceramic vase imported by Artmark Chicago, Ltd., featuring a softly faceted hexagonal form and an ornate Satsuma-style design. Two colorful peacocks are depicted among lush peonies, chrysanthemums, and flowering foliage, accented with delicate gold gilt detailing.

The warm cream-colored body has an intentionally crackled glaze that adds texture and depth to the decoration. Its tall, slender silhouette works beautifully in Chinoiserie-inspired, Grandmillennial, traditional, or eclectic interiors.

Retains its original red maker’s mark on the underside, along with the original red-and-gold Artmark / Made in Japan foil label.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Uniform overall crazing is inherent to the decorative crackle glaze. Minor age-related wear to the gilt rim.
