1963 Lane Walnut Media Cabinet, Style 2631-11

Designed by Lane Furniture and manufactured in 1963, this mid-century walnut drop-front cabinet offers streamlined storage with a compact footprint. Vertical slat detailing and a brass pull give the piece a quiet architectural presence, while the interior is configured for vinyl record storage. 

Date-stamped August 5, 1963, this Style 2631-11 piece was produced at the height of Lane’s mid-century dominance in Altavista, VA. Includes the original Lane Record Cabinet care booklet, retained with the cabinet.

Very good vintage condition. Walnut veneer presents well with a warm, even tone. Light surface wear consistent with age and use; no major chips, cracks, or structural issues observed. Drop-front mechanism operates smoothly. Interior dividers intact and clean. Brass pull shows gentle patina appropriate to age.
