1960s Danish Modern Teak Dining Chairs, Pair

A handsome pair of Danish modern teak dining chairs dating to the mid-20th century. The chairs feature sculptural crescent “floating” backrests, tapered legs, and black upholstered seats, classic elements of Scandinavian modern design.

Elegant and comfortable, the refined silhouette is reminiscent of the Danish dining chairs popularized in the 1950s and 1960s by designers such as Kai Kristiansen, though the maker of this pair is unknown. The frames appear to be solid teak with warm grain and excellent color.
